Karma Head Audio-Visual 12/12

Proposal Details

The Artist and Inspiration:

Karma Head is the first musician to offer an analog album, Plastic World, as a Hybrid Digital Collectible. The 12/12 collection debuts the cultural restoration of music, paired with progressive utility. Most recently, she headlined NFT.London with her rock band

The musician’s background is in classical composition, jazz piano and analog production. She works from her private Post-Production Analog Recording studio – also the home of the Plastic World Album; and many more to come… The 18 month project showcases organic musicianship through thematic storytelling, composition and tape production.

Karma Head’s mission is to restore the cultural heart of music through Hybrid Digital Collectables; by melting the boarders between the real world and digital one. The collection provides a solution to the current music model through her tangible assets and partners. Throughout history, music has propelled the socio-economic voicing through unity. Let us further that narrative…

The Collection Brief:

25 years ago, David Bowie became the first artist to sell shares in his music, through ‘Bowie Bonds’. This propelled his career into the realm that changed music history forever.

Web3 presents the progressive landscape to facilitate this ‘punk’ take. Karma Head’s Debut is accelerating this model to restore the cultural movements of music.

The debut collection is comprised of 12 songs which form the analog album; complimented visually by motion artist, Jake Farmer. Upon purchase, the Music & Art ‘layer’ release patronage. This unlocks revenue shares from streaming, sync and future collections.

Karma Head has 3 upcoming Digital Collections in collaboration with partners. The genesis collection pays tribute to the patronage era of Mozart; whilst also not only creating a bridge between the real and digital worlds, but between our history and our future.
