There are a large number of people who believe in blockchain technology but don’t have the time or expertise to pick the correct altcoins. These people (over 75% of crypto investors, particularly retail ones) usually end up purchasing just BTC or ETH or a combination of the two.

This is a mistake. A well built diversified portfolio will beat BTC or ETH in both Risk and Return.

We want to do more than to build another crypto index though – Our goal is to build the objectively best crypto portfolio, communally. We start with a base portfolio, solicit ideas from the community, test these ideas in real time, and then discard the underperforming ideas and merge the overperforming ones into the base portfolio. In this way we end up with a constantly improving portfolio, moving towards the optimal Sharpe ratio portfolio.
