Proposal Details
Almost all of us have had to authorize someone to act on our behalf at some point in our lives. This was a major issue, especially when we manage corporate enterprises. Counterparties typically request authorization for a representative to perform specific acts such as opening a bank account, executing a contract, and so on. Furthermore, the issue of trust persisted because the proxy may be revoked at any time. Because of the cost, time commitment, and complexity of dealing with apostille, notary verification is not an ideal solution for businesses and regular people.
Our main goal is to create a blockchain-based system of trustless verification of authorization act (proxy). This system can be widely used by DAOs with strict and formal procedures or by conventional legal entities.
We decided to tackle the problem of trustful representation with a combination of Ethereum smart contracts and a self-sovereign identity (SSI) solution. Ethereum-based decentralized identifiers (DIDs) will be the core of the SSI trust model and DAO-based smart-contracts will allow creating a dynamic system of delegation of powers.
Daver project aims to resolve the vexing problem of representation that practically every business encounters at some point during its commercial relationships.
We attempt to create a connection layer between legacy corporate services and smart contracts in the delegation of powers. Our work will result in an SDK as a building block for complex dapps integrations with legacy apps. Additionally, we will create our own platform (mobile + web) for personal credential management.
