We're building a decentralized Paypal to enable trustless business transactions on the blockchain.

There are 3 components to it : 1. Decentralized Escrow Payment System 2. Marketplace 3. Reputation System

A friend of mine got scammed out of 90K$ during a business transaction paid on chain, and it seemed to me like such a thing shouldn't be happening, since Smart Contracts can handle this in such a way that the funds are not released as long as the work hasn't been done

The escrow system remove risks for both buyers & sellers. The marketplace allows you to find people to use the escrow with. The reputation system allows you to know who to transact with or not, without doxxing people - Someone's identity isn't only their gender, name, skin color, height, but can also be what they've done on chain. We use this to make everyone safer when transacting with other people while also focusing on people's skills, rather than their physical location, which is often discriminated against (An Indian developper will automatically be paid less than a US developper, despite equal skills.)

The litigation is done through people staking ETH or a recognized as solid stablecoin, so we can slash them in case of bribes or collusion to steal someone's funds.

The reputation should also lower the amount of litigations, as there's no way of deleting past negative reviews, incentivizing everyone to play fair.
