Obol Network is a Secret Shared Validator (SSV) network that enables the provisioning of trustless infrastructure on the Ethereum Network.

This will provide institutions, self-stakers, and pool operators the ability to create their own staking environments with superior fault tolerance, resiliency and robustness without the need to integrate multiple providers or deploy complex infrastructure configurations. Obol is designed to incentivize collaboration at the network operator level, which will enable a much needed economic paradigm shift in the way block proposal and validation occurs on Ethereum.

• Secret Shared Validators (SSV) is a joint R&D effort commissioned by the Ethereum Foundation in conjunction with the Obol founding team.

• SSV is a new infrastructure primitive that enables key sharing across multiple, independently operating validator instances.

• Obol is solely focused on producing trustless validation as a permissionless good for public networks

• Obol is meant to be built on top of and is not a staking pool
