Maple is a platform for the creation of DeFi Bond Funds which invest in tokenized bonds issued by corporate borrowers (for example crypto miners, trading funds, market makers and exchanges). The Bond Funds offer investors the chance to earn passive yield as Liquidity Providers or to earn fee income by creating a Bond Fund and acting as its Asset Manager. Maple is underpinned by a native token which earns fee income in exchange for providing default insurance to investors in the Bond Funds.
