termal is a liquidity provider that enables investors to invest DAI trough a founder friendly flexible convertible loan allocated in a Latam Blockchain based startup, earning a monthly yield as consequence of the loan and the chance to own also a chunk of equity in the startups trough a property/investment token of every startup funded. The ratio is 1:1 DAI pero termal token (Investor X Token). Such token works as a proof of investment and as a representation of a percentage of ownership of the whole project that eventually will be managed as a DAO. Investor will revceive a monthly yield after the first calendar stage (in case startup pays interest).

On the startup side, they receive DAI as working capital and in exchange they "stake" in the main contract a portion of their digital equity in the form of a token (startup X token).

The funds are liberated by the main contract to the startup in a meritocratic form. They have to achieve certain milestones to receive the funding.

Then, the loan is divided in 4 stages. First 4 months the contract delivers the first part of the loan called "Dating" the satrtup receives funding but does not pay any interest ( ~30% APR). Second stage, is called the "The commitment" startup starts paying loan and starts to be monitored via ad hoc KPI´S. Third stage is called "The Wedding" is when the magic happens, startup can convert and the loan for digital equity thus, cancelling the debt. The fourth one is called "FWB" startup pays loan and decide not to convert equity.

Once we reached critical volume of both investors and startups, we will build or own markeplace where you can exchange startups tokens and sell them or buy them depending on their performance. In that sense the termal investor token will accrue value as well as the startups tokens.
